§ 9.6. Board of review.

    The Board of Review shall consist of three (3) residents who are electors of the city, but not city officers or employees. The Assessor is to be the clerk of the Board of Review and nonvoting. The board shall be entitled to such remuneration as shall be determined by the Council.

    (b)

    The board of review appointed under the provisions of this Charter shall be made up of three (3)-year terms. The Council shall appoint a member for a three (3)-year term at the first regular Council meeting in January of each succeeding year; however, the members of the first board shall be appointed to one one (1)-year term, one two (2)-year term, and one three (3)-year term. In the event that a vacancy or vacancies occur during a term, the Council shall appoint a new member to fill the remainder of the unexpired term.
