§ 3.4. Election commission.

  • An election commission is hereby created. The commission shall consist of the City Clerk, Assessor, and City Attorney. The Clerk shall be chairperson. The commission shall have charge of all activities and exercise all duties required of it by state law and this Charter relating to the administration of elections in the city. The commission shall establish rules and regulations, not inconsistent with state statutes and/or this Charter, for the most efficient administration of city elections. The commission shall establish, and recommend for Council approval, the compensation of election personnel.
